Those who follow Hugo closely know that one of his goals in table tennis is to help make the sport more popular in Brazil. He has just taken another step in that direction by launching a page here on his website to promote social table tennis projects across the country.

“One of my key career goals has always been to make table tennis a more popular sport in Brazil. This initiative is a step in that direction, which also recognizes the incredible social inclusion work being done with our sport,” said Hugo.

Projects must be submitted by their organizers using the form available on the page itself. To be published, initiatives must offer the activity free of charge to all participants.

“Those who live the sport know how much it can impact people’s lives, especially those who live in more vulnerable conditions. I hope to help promote these projects so they can reach even more people,” said Hugo.
