Hugo’s next event will be the Pan American Championships, which will be held in the United States from October 12 to 19. He will be the top seed in both singles and mixed doubles competitions, alongside Bruna Takahashi.

COMPETITION SYSTEM

All the singles and doubles matches at the Pan American Championships will be played in a single-elimination system. For team events, there will be a group stage followed by a knockout stage.

The matches in the singles tournaments will be played in best of 7 games. In the doubles and team competitions, it will be best of 5 games.

WHAT’S AT STAKE
