After winning the WTT Star Contender Ljubljana, Hugo returns to the international table tennis tour to compete in the WTT Contender Buenos Aires in Argentina. The main draw of the tournament is scheduled for July 24-27. Here’s everything you need to know about the event:

Ranked #3 in the world, Hugo is the top seed in the men’s singles draw. He will also compete in the mixed doubles tournament with Bruna Takahashi. There will be 13 Brazilians in Buenos Aires:

COMPETITION SYSTEM

The WTT Contender Buenos Aires will feature men’s and women’s singles events in a single-elimination system, with 32 players in each bracket. The event will also feature men’s, women’s and mixed doubles tournaments.

Matches will be played in best of 5 games until the semifinals. The final will be decided in a best of 7 games.
